About the project

The Whole Beast is a butchery book to be released by Chronicle Books in the Fall of 2011, by famed San Francisco butcher and chef Ryan Farr.

There will be three accompanying apps for iphone/ipad (currently in editing), each for a different whole animal, including: Pig, Cow, and Lamb.

The three apps will consist of over 2 hours of instructional butchery videos, taught by Mr. Farr.
