About the project

Kai Kronfield is trained as an architect. But like many others since the economic crash of 2008, he was layed off and unable to find another job in his field.

So for fun, he started making candy. At the insistence of his friends, he started selling it around San Francisco.

He now churns out hundreds of orders a week out of his home kitchen. And with the help of a supportive local community and projects like The Underground Market, has been able to cultivate a business out of his passion.
